Constructing Whitney sets via IFS with condensation

چکیده
In 1935, Whitney constructed a smooth function for which the Morse-Sard Theorem does not hold. Whitney's construction is closely related to certain compact connected set, called set now. From then on, there are lot of works on sets. this paper, we use IFS with condensation, notion introduced by Barnsley and Demko in 1985, construct arcs Our includes most early results as special cases.

Hausdorff Dimension of Limit Sets for Parabolic Ifs with Overlaps
We study parabolic iterated function systems with overlaps on the real line. We show that if a d-parameter family of such systems satisfies a transversality condition, then for almost every parameter value the Hausdorff dimension of the limit set is the minimum of 1 and the least zero of the pressure function. Moreover, the local dimension of the exceptional set of parameters is estimated. If t...
متن کاملConstructing Finite Frames via Platonic Solids
Finite tight frames have many applications and some interesting physical interpretations. One of the important subjects in this area is the ways for constructing such frames. In this article we give a concrete method for constructing finite normalized frames using Platonic solids.
متن کاملFiner Geometric Rigidity of Limit Sets of Conformal Ifs
We consider infinite conformal iterated function systems in the phase space Rd with d ≥ 3. Let J be the limit set of such a system. Under a mild technical assumption, which is always satisfied if the system is finite, we prove that either the Hausdorff dimension of J exceeds the topological dimension k of the closure of J or else the closure of J is a proper compact subset of either a geometric...
متن کاملConstructing Strange Real Algebraic Sets
Recall that algebraic sets are characterized by resolution tower structures [AK1], [AK2]. A topological space with such a structure is called a T R space for short. In low dimensions existence of resolution tower structures can often be detected by combinatorial invariants of the underlying topological spaces. For example, let X be a locally cone-like Euler stratified space (i.e., a locally con...
